Ivan William Howlett pic A Leading Stoker with H.M.S. Queen Mary. Ivan died on 31st of May 1916 during the Battle of Jutland. The Queen Mary was hit twice by shells from the German battlecruiser Derfflinger and her magazines exploded sinking the ship. Ivan was one of 1,266 crew who were killed. /
William Robert Beecroft William Robert Beecroft CREDIT: Lowestoft Journal A Driver with 12th Battery, died on 23rd of October 1914 during the First Battle of Ypres at the age of 29. He arrived in France with 35th Brigade Royal Field Artillery on 6 October 1914. /
Karl Ferdinand Franck William Arnold Karl Ferdinand Arnold CREDIT: De Ruvigny A Captain with 1st Bn., Karl died on 23rd of April 1915 at the Second Battle of Ypres aged 27. He was shot, while in trenches that were being enfiladed by German fire. /
